1. Description

trABu is a carpooling app / marketplace which connects drivers and riders. We provide a friendly, safe, and fun service. All drivers must successfully complete a Nationwide background check before they are eligible to drive within the trABu app. Travelers can connect and split travel costs with each other. Travel more for less!

2. How it works

(Riders)

-Sign up.
-Enter your destination, travel dates and departure time.
-Search through the feed of available trips.
-Each Driver profile will show travel dates, price, destination, vehicle, profile photo, trip preferences, and bio.
-Find the best trip and request.
-Once your Driver accepts, message each other to arrange a pick up and drop off location.
-Chat in-app and discuss any travel arrangements with your Driver.
Begin the journey!

(Drivers)

-Sign up.
-Go to your Profile and select “Become a Driver”.
-Enter your information.
-Submit your background check.
-Once your background check is approved, you can begin to post trips.
-Enter your bank details via Stripe within the app. (Our third-party payment processing platform, without this you will not be able to receive payment)
-Post as many trips you plan to drive in the future - you set the price.
-Sit back and wait for a fellow Travel Buddy to request a trip!
-When a Rider requests one of your trips you will receive a notification. You can accept or reject the -Rider based on your own desired travel preferences.
-When you accept a Rider, you can discuss details of the trip (snacks, pick up & drop off locations).

*Post trips with enough time in advance to discuss and coordinate travel details with your passengers.
